Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
The Bachelor of Science, Computer Science major is designed for students interested in computer-oriented careers in industry, education, and government, and for those students interested in pursuing advanced studies in computer science.
Requirements for a Major in Computer Science
At least 44 semester hours of computer science course work with a grade of C or better.
Admission to the Program
Admission is through a formal declaration of major after successfully completing CS 230 Programming I and CS 231 Programming II.

Requirements for a Minor in Computer Science
Requires a minimum of 18 semester hours of Computer Science (CS) or Computer Information Systems (CIS) courses numbered at the 200 level or higher. The course work must include CS 230, CS 231, CS 330, CS 333, and at least one 400 level computer science course.
