His research interest include artificial intelligence, methematical modeling and simulation, and web page programming and development.

Associate Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science; PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Florida, an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a B.S. in Engineering from the University of South Florida. Dr. King has extensive experience in computer communications and management through a variety of positions with the United States Air Force and as a senior technical advisor with the Defense Information Systems Agency. His research interests focus on practical computer science systems that are oriented towards real-life applications and include the areas of computer architecture, instruction level parallelism, performance tradeoffs in computer networks, and network security.
