“We are the custodians as well as heirs of a great civilization.”
from Dr. Bethune’s Last Will and Testament

Students completing the courses in the area of Humanities will demonstrate self-knowledge, humaneness and a transcendent spirit as they become citizens who act locally, nationally and globally to transform our communities into oasis of justice, peace, enlightenment and communality.  Recognizing that we are the heirs of a great African civilization our students will become leaders in the effort to restore and preserve our heritage of transformative and transcendent culture.
