Dr. Annette Wilder Kashif is a Fulbright Scholar who follows in her parents’ footsteps as a professional educator and activist intellectual (Ashe!). Serving as its Area Coordinator, Dr. Kashif teaches a variety of Humanities courses. She was selected as the School of Arts and Humanities’ Outstanding Faculty Member for the inaugural issue of Faculty Highlights in Spring 2006.
Dr. Cheryll R. Hardison-Dayton, DA is an Assistant Professor of Humanities within the Department of Arts and Humanities at the Bethune Cookman University. She holds a B.S in History and a Masters of Public Administration with emphasis in community development from Tennessee State University. Dr. Dayton in collaboration with Ms. Jane Fuller of the Mass Communication Department formed a group entitled “Black Women’s Power Circle” to encourage young black women to understand black womanhood.
