Ms.
Susan
Baxter
Susan Baxter has an MS in psychology, an MBA in
management, and is currently a DBA student at Argosy
University in marketing. She holds an Advanced
Graduate Professional Certificate in International
Business. Ms. Baxter is in the dissertation
phase of her doctoral program and is combining her
background in psychology and business to study
social marketing effectiveness. She is an
Assistant Professor of Marketing at Bethune-Cookman
College. Prior to coming to B-CC, Ms. Baxter
taught at several central Florida colleges and
universities, including DeVry University, as well as
several online universities including South
University and Baker College.
Prior to teaching, Ms. Baxter worked in the mental
health field as a licensed practitioner, supervisor,
manager and director for over 15 years. She
has presented at workshops in psychology and
business and has been guest lecturer/speaker for
various organizations.
Her research areas of interest include social
marketing, diversity in marketing, consumer behavior
and international marketing.
