School of Business

Our Mission

To provide a high quality education by delivering academically sound programs, in a supportive Christian setting that prepares our graduates to assume an immediate and productive role in an ethically, culturally diverse and global workplace inclusive of industry, commerce, government and entrepreneurship.  The School of Business is committed to teaching with moderate emphasis on research and community service.  This community is composed of students, faculty, the college's schools, other Florida colleges, businesses, governmental agencies, and advisory councils.

1. To graduate students with the technical, social, and critical thinking skills needed for success in
    the workplace and graduate school.

2. To develop and maintain programs that satisfies prospective employers.

3. To promote the role of business leadership.

4. To develop in students a sense of community service, ethical values and social responsibilities.

5. To provide an educational environment in a Christian setting.

6. To provide an environment that encourages research.

Our Vision

Consistent with Bethune-Cookman College' mission as a United Methodist, Historically Black College, we strive to provide quality education for all people, especially those lacking social, economic, and educational advantages.

The School of Business (SB) is the school of choice for those who seek an education that combines experimental learning with practical business skills.

We want to be increasingly recognized by our stakeholders for challenging our students to reach their full potential.
