TEACHING

E 431 VLSI DESIGN I
In this course, fundamental principles of NMOS and CMOS digital integrated circuit (IC) design are taught. Fundamental principles of circuit analysis and design are emphasized. Modern CAD tools from Cadence Design Systems are used for Integrated Circuit (IC) layout and simulation. System level design issues including testing are thoroughly covered.

E 432 VLSI DESIGN II
This course deals with the design and synthesis of Very Large Scale Integrated (VLSI) chips using CMOS technology. Design issues at layout, schematic, logic and RTL levels are studied. Modern CAD tools are used for the laboratory exercises. Theoretical concepts in VLSI architectures are explored.
