The vertical curriculum given above is
suggested for students who are not required to take remedial
Math, Reading or English courses (courses numbered 111 or
112). If a student is required to take one or more of these
courses he/she must substitute the remedial course for the
college level Math, English or Reading listed. Upon
completion of remedial courses, students must then enroll in
the respective college-level courses.
If a student has not taken high school chemistry or does not
have a good chemistry background, he may be advised to take
Introduction to Chemistry (CH 131) before attempting the
General Chemistry courses. CH 131 can be used as an
elective.
Specified courses offered as Physics
electives may be substituted for required courses upon the
approval of the Advisor.
