Freshman Seminar is designed to help first-year students make the transition from high school to college by providing an introduction to the values, ethos and history of Bethune-Cookman College. Special emphasis is placed on wellness, study skills, time management, ethical behavior, writing across the curriculum and service learning opportunities. During the second semester, the learning environment extends into the larger community where students participate in service learning opportunities.
