Position Listed: Assistant Professor Criminal Justice Sociology Assistant Professor of History Title: Associate Professor Criminal Justice Salary: Salary is competitive. Responsibilities: Successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach a variety of courses including long distance learning at the undergraduate level. Evidence of success in securing external funding is also expected. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Applicant must have earned a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from an accredited university/college. The ideal candidate for the position will be a criminal justice generalist with ability to teach in the following areas: criminal justice theory, Practice (e.g., law enforcement, juvenile justice, corrections, courts) and criminal justice policy. Primary emphasis will be on excellence in classroom teaching, advising, mentoring and career development.
